First Collier Books Edition stated, 1989 Collier. Third Printing with full number line reversed, 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3. Ex-Library with few marks and archival tape wrapping of covers.
The exterior of this paperback edition is in Near Fine condition, with clean, illustrated covers with no creases, clean page blocks, mild surface wear, strong title on a straight spine, a tight binding with no spine cracks, rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rounded corners. No signs of library on the exterior.
The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with a one-line, name only ink stamp of the library on the title page, a few circled page numbers on the index of poems, an underlined phrase on page xv, and a box around the first character on page 3. A paper barcode was removed from the rear free endpaper and the same one-link ink stamp was crossed out on the last page, with some black marker transferred to the inside back cover. The inside front cover had no cards, stamps or library marks and the folded ends of the archival tape wrapping of the covers. No other marks inside. The interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
