For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first illustrated edition, early printing paperback copy of The Fan Man by William Kotzwinkle. First Paperback Edition described and dated, January 1974. Copyright page also lists 1979 illustration copyright for Keith Bendis. Seventh Printing stated and undated is presumed to be the first illustrated printing.

The exterior of this paperback edition is in Near Fine condition, with clean, illustrated covers with no creases, mild  surface wear, strong title on a square spine, clean page blocks, a tight binding with a strong sheen and no creases, bumped top spine end, mild edge wear and rounded corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
