Francis Lai wrote the score for Love Story, and the company that published the music for Paramount felt that the track heard over the opening and closing credits, which was titled “Theme from Love Story”, needed lyrics. Andy Williams eventually recorded the new lyrics and took the song to number nine on Billboard magazine’s Hot 100 and number one on their Easy Listening chart.

The front cover is in Very Good condition, with lightly faded movie photo of Ryan O’Neal and Ali McGraw, no creases, no tears, lightly rounded corners and a strong seam. The interior pages are in Very Good condition with mild edge wear. A few marks on toned pages, and an ink stamp of a music store on the front with no inscriptions.

Ships promptly in a manila envelope with cardboard.
