The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a strong sheen on the front, strong title gilt on a straight spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rounded corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with the previous owner’s address label on the front paste down. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Good condition with moderate surface wear, a sunned spine and heavy edge wear, chips and tears. The rear cover has a damp stain but the front is clean and bright. First state jacket with the $3.95 price on the front flap. Looks attractive in a new Brodart archival wrap.
