The book is in Near Fine condition with clean,bright boards with two heavily bumped and rounded corners and the same, colorful cover design as the dust jacket. The book also has a few marks on the page blocks, a tight binding, no spine tilt, rolled spine ends, and moderate edge wear. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with mild surface wear, heavy edge wear, the price intact, and looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
Diary of a Drug Fiend is inspired by Crowley’s own experience of drugs and first published in 1922, Diary of a Drug Fiend follows Sir Peter Pendragon, a veteran pilot of World War I, who comes into money and saves himself from life-sapping indolence by marrying Louise Laleham, a devotee of the occultist Basil King Lamus. The other works include Moonchild, Household Gods, The Book of Lies, The Book of the Law and White Stains.
