For sale is a rare and exceptional first Book Club edition of Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller, in a new archival wrap. Book of the Month Club (BOMC) edition, 1949 Viking with W print code on copyright page and 1949 on the title page. Second Printing Before Publication stated and no gutter code.
The exterior of the book is in Near Fine condition, with clean, bright boards with a few light spots and the BOMC dimple on the back. Also, strong title ink on a lightly sunned spine, clean page blocks, a tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear and two lightly bumped . The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition, with o other marks, inscriptions, or any other signs of ownership. The rear end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
