For sale: a Rare first edition, early printing hardcover copy of The Dead Zone by Stephen King In a new archival wrap. First Edition unstated, 1979 Viking. Third Printing with partial number line reversed, 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3.

The book is in Good condition with lightly faded boards with marks and large bumps to both side edge. Also, faded title gilt on a wrinkled, concave spine, lightly soiled page blocks, tight binding, moderate to heavy spine tilt, rolled and rubbed spine ends, heavy edge wear, and rubbed corners with bare spots. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions or signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Good condition with mild surface, several tears repaired with acid-free tape and heavy edge wear. First state jacket with the $11.95 price and the 0879 code present on the front flap, with the ISBN on the rear cover.  Looks very good in a new Brodart archival wrap.

The Dead Zone is a science fiction thriller novel by Stephen King published in 1979. The story follows Johnny Smith, who awakens from a coma of nearly five years and, apparently as a result of brain damage, now experiences clairvoyant and precognitive visions triggered by touch.
