For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, early printing hardcover copy of Danse Macabre by Stephen King in a mismatched second printing dust jacket new archival wrap. First Edition unstated, 1981 Everest House. Fourth Printing with 3RRD581 print code on copyright page.

The book is in Near Fine condition with clean, bright boards with strong sheen and pattern. Also, strong title gilt on a straight spine, lightly foxed top page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions or signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with mild surface and edge wear and a 1.5″ square of the bottom spine end damaged from a sticker removed from the black section below the title. Matching jacket with Fourth Printing stated with the price on the front flap and no barcode on the rear cover.  Looks great in a Brodart archival wrap.
