First Edition. 1924 Little Brown. First Printing with 1924 on both title and copyright pages. Fair hardcover with no dust jacket, as issued. Boards are in very poor condition, with heavy edge and corner wear corners, missing spine ends. Gilt is mostly gone from the front title/graphic. Gilt from the spine is completely gone. Top gilt still present, and the other page blocks are clean. Both front and rear hinges are strong, but the binding is starting to loosen. Previous owner’s name city and date are on the FEP. No other marks or inscriptions. Inside pages are strong, supple, clean and lightly toned.
