For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition THUS, early printing hardcover copy of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens in a new archival wrap. Edition unstated and undated, 1920 J. B. Lippincott. Illustrated By Arthur Rackham.
The book is in Very Good condition with lightly soiled boards with strong sheen, strong title ink on the sunned spine and on the front title and three bell design. Also with a heavily frayed spine ends, some marks on page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, moderate to heavy edge wear, and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with an erased price and light foxing on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the heavy stock interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
