The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a few smudges, strong title gilt on a tilted spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rounded corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with the previous owner’s name on the first free end paper and an erased price on the second. Famous for creating James Bond, Ian Fleming also loved fast cars — and this passion inspired him to write his only children’s book, penned for his young son, Caspar. Published sixty years ago in 1964, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: The Magical Car introduced the world to the thrilling adventures of the “crackpot” Pott family and the flying car with a mind of her own.

Ships promptly in a secure mailer with the book wrapped in both craft paper and bubble wrap.
