The exterior of the book is in Very Good condition with clean, lightly faded boards with a strong sheen and lightly chipped title ink on a straight spine. Also with, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled spine ends, moderate edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with an erased price on the first free end paper and accidentally turned corners on pages 451-74. No other marks, inscriptions or signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright.

The Caine Mutiny is the 1951 Pulitzer Prize–winning novel by Herman Wouk. The novel grew out of Wouk’s personal experiences aboard a destroyer-minesweeper in the Pacific Theater in World War II. It deals with, among other things, the moral and ethical decisions made at sea by the captains of ships.
