For sale is a rare and exceptional First Edition, Early Printing of The Bobbsey Twins on an Airplane Trip [Original Edition] (Bobbsey Twins #26) by Laura Lee Hope, with no dust jacket. First [Original] Edition unstated, 1933 Grosset and Dunlap on copyright page. Early Printing with the line drawing on cream endpapers.
The hardcover book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a strong sheen and some spots on the back. The title ink is strong on the front board and faded, but legible on the lightly sunned spine. Also with, lightly stained bottom page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, moderate edge wear and rubbed and lightly rounded corners with no bare spots. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with the previous owner’s name on the front paste down. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The illustrated end papers featuring both twins running through a back yard and the interior pages are clean and evenly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
