Near Fine small Acting Edition paperback with a wrapped binding. The exterior of the book is in Near Fine condition, with clean, bright covers, mild surface wear, two partial corner creases, a tight binding, clean page blocks, mild edge wear and rounded corners. The interior of the book is in Fine condition in unread condition. No marks, underlining, highlighting, inscriptions or other signs of ownership inside. The interior pages are clean and bright.

This play was first presented in 1984 at the Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles and in 1985 at the Neil Simon Theatre in NYC. It had Matthew Broderick and others in the cast. The action takes place in the coach of a train in 1943, in a Barracks and Mess Hall, a church basement, a Girls School and elsewhere as the characters interact.
