This book has a Near Fine dust jacket wrapped in a new archival wrap, with a Very Good second, half-size, movie tie-in overlay and no second wrap. Gift Edition stated on copyright page and dated October 1998, below the original date of publication. The evidence of it being a first printing is that there is no subsequent printing on the copyright page.
The book is in Very Good condition, with bright boards with a few marks and lightly foxed text blocks. The binding is tight with no creases, and there is no spine tilt.
