From the foreword by Dame Margot Fonteyn, D.B.E.: “Nothing can be more inanimate than a text-book on ballet technique-except when written by Madame Karsavina… Madame Karsavina is a very rare artist. She has found the way to translate her balletic wisdom into prose.”
From Mme. Karsavina’s Introduction: “What I offer here to the attention of the teaching profession, as well as for students, is not a setting up of a new method, nor is it a panacea for all ills, but simply the results of my own experience. What profited me seems likely to be of some benefit to others…”
Thin volume ships promptly in a secure mailer with book wrapped in both craft paper and bubble wrap.
