The exterior of the paperback edition is in Very Good  condition, with bright , lightly rubbed covers, a corner crease on the back, clean page blocks, no spine tilt, rubbed spine ends, and mild edge and corner wear. The title and author name are both visible on the skinny spine.

The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with the previous owner’s name on the first free end paper and the outside front cover and the last name on the side page block. There are also 12 lines underlined on pages 53-55, which is the Preface to The American Dream. The interior pages are toned and a little stiff. One page edge has a 1/2″ tear repaired with acid-free tape.
