For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first hardcover edition first printing of Along the Road or Notes And Essays Of A Tourist by Aldous Huxley with no dust jacket. First Edition unstated, 1925 George H. Doran.  First Printing with the colophon with initials “GHD” on the copyright page.
The book exterior is in  Very Good hardcover with clean, bright boards, with a strong sheen and a few marks. The book has clean page blocks, mild spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear and rounded and lightly rubbed corners. Strong title ink on the paper label on a straight spine. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with the previous owner’s bookplate on the front paste down and an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The inside covers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
No dust jacket.
