For sale: a Rare and Exceptional Junior Deluxe Edition hardcover copy of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll with no dust jacket, as issued. Edition unstated and undated, 1957 Junior Deluxe Edition. Illustrated by John Tenniel.
The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards with a large bump to the front edge. Also with a strong title on a convex spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rounded spine ends, and two rounded corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with the previous owner’s first name on the reverse side of the first free endpaper with the last letter and a stray mark on the half title page opposite. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The illustrated end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
