For sale: a Rare and Exceptional First paperback  Edition, early printing of Aaron’s Rod by D. H. Lawrence. First paperback edition unstated, 1961 Compass Books.  Second Printing December 1963 stated and a $1.45 cover price. Strong cover design by Jeanyee Wong. 290 pages.

The exterior of the paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with clean, lightly faded covers with a corner crease, a good title on a sunned spine, clean page blocks, a tight binding with no spine cracks, mild spine tilt, rubbed spine edges and ends, moderate to heavy edge wear and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership inside. The inside rear cover and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
