First American Edition unstated and undated, 1963 Harcourt Brace. First printing with no subsequent printing on copyright page.

The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a few marks, strong title ink on a square spine and no ink on the front cover design, as issued. Also with, clean page blocks, tight binding, moderate to heavy spine tilt, rolled and rubbed spine ends, heavy edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Good condition with heavy surface wear, a sunned spine with the top 1″ missing, heavy edge wear, chips, gaps and the $5.75 price on the front flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.

Four months after Cummings’s death in September 1962, his widow, the photographer Marion Morehouse, collected the typescripts of 29 new poems. These poems, as well as uncollected poems published only in periodicals up to that time, make up 73 Poems . This is the final volume in Liveright’s reissue of Cummings’s individual volumes of poetry, with texts and settings based on E. E. The Complete Poems 1904-1962 .

Ships promptly in a secure mailer with the book wrapped in both craft paper and bubble wrap.
