For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first paperback edition, first printing of The Meteor by Friedrich Dürrenmatt.  First Evergreen Edition stated, 1973 Grove Press. First Printing with no subsequent printing on the copyright page and a $1.95 cover price.

The exterior of the paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with clean, lightly rubbed covers with a hole punch in the front cover after the letter R of the title. Also with, a strong title on a square spine, some marks on the page blocks, mild spine tilt, lightly rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership inside. The inside rear cover and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.  Appears unread.

The Meteor is a very funny play about a man who dies twice and yet outlives everybody else in the cast.
