For sale is a  rare first edition, first printing of A Closer Look at Ariel by Nancy Hunter Steiner. First Edition stated, 1972 Harper’s Magazine Press. First  Printing with no subsequent printing.

The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards, lightly faded ink on a convex spine, moderately foxed page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt,  rolled spine ends, heavy edge wear, and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with no other marks, inscriptions or signs of ownership inside. The end papers are toned and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with mild soiling and uneven toning , a sunned spine and moderate to heavy edge wear with no tears. First state jacket with $5.00 price and 0173 date code on front flap. Looks very good in a new Brodart archival wrap.
