For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, second printing hardcover copy of Winter’s Tale by Mark Helprin in a new archival wrap. First American Edition stated, 1983 Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. Second Printing with incomplete letter line, B C D E.

The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with some age spots along the top edges. Also with, strong title ink on a slightly concave spine, heavy spotting on top page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the title page. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with moderate to heavy surface wear, heavy edge wear, chipping and two 1″ closed tears on back. First state jacket with the $14.95 price on the front flap and ISBN 0-15-197203-6 on the back cover. . Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
