The book is in Very Good condition with clean, lightly faded boards with a big bump to the bottom edge. Also, strong title ink on a straight spine, lightly foxed page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled and lightly rubbed spine ends, . The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with an erased price on the half-title page. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with heavy surface wear, mild edge wear, and the price is on the front flap. Looks great in a Brodart archival wrap.
This selection of letters written by Miller, then in his eighties, to his neighbor, a young dancer/actress named Brenda Venus, is interwoven with a text by Venus recounting the course of their relationship.
