For sale is a  rare and exceptional first  paperback edition, first printing of The Colossus and Other Poems by Sylvia Plath. Vintage Books Edition stated, September  September 1968. Presumed First Printing with no subsequent printing and $1.65 cover price.

The exterior of this paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with bright covers with a light, damp stain along the bottom 3/4″ inch of the covers, only seen on the inside covers. Also, no creases, some smudges on page blocks, moderate to heavy surface wear, strong title on a horizontally cracked spine, a tight binding with no spine cracks, strong spine ends, moderate edge wear and  rounded corners.

The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with heavily toned pages and a few darker spotting on the first few pages. No marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and heavily toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
