For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing paperback copy of The Road by Cormac McCarthy. First Vintage International Edition stated, 2006 Vintage International. First Printing with full number line reversed, 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1.

The exterior of the paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with clean, bright covers with a 1/4″ tear mended with acid-free tape on the front cover. Also, mild surface wear, strong title on a straight spine, clean page blocks, a tight binding with no cracks, lightly rubbed bottom spine end, moderate to heavy edge and corner wear. First state cover design with Oprah Book Club imprint and no Pulitzer Prize notice.

The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition, with the letter J on the inside cover next to abrasions from a cleanly removed address sticker. No other marks, inscriptions, or any other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright.
