For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver in a new archival wrap. First Edition stated, 2022 Harper. First Printing with full number line. Exclusive Letter Edition with two page “Dear Reader” letter from the author at the front of the book. Not a signed edition – there were none in the first print run – but the letter has a facsimile signature on the second page.
The book is in Fine condition with clean, bright boards, strong title gilt on the straight spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, no edge wear, and strong corners. The interior of the book is also in Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with mild edge wear, the price is intact on the flap, and looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap. The jacket has a red imprint on the lower right with the statement “With an Exclusive Letter from Barbara Kingsolver.” Very Rare!
