For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first hardcover edition, first printing of Mao II by Don DeLillo in a new archival wrap. First Edition described, 1991 Viking. First Printing with complete number line 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2.

The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a few spots, strong title gilt on a tilted spine, a few marks on the page blocks, tight binding, heavy spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear and  rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.

The dust jacket is in Very Good dust jacket with heavy edge wear, chips and a 1/2″ x 1″ open gap on the rear flap fold. First state jacket with the price on the front flap. Looks great in a new archival wrap.
