For sale: a Rare and Exceptional Second hardcover Edition, Later Printing of The Sign on Rosie’s Door by Maurice Sendak in an archival wrap. Second Edition 1988 Harper & Row. Eighteenth Printing with partial number line.

The book is in Fine condition with clean, bright boards, strong title ink on the square spine and strong ink on the front cover design, clean page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, strong spine ends, mild edge wear, and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Fine condition with no marks or inscriptions. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.

The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with mild edge wear, no price and a bar code is on the rear flap, as issued. Second state jacket is the same as the first issue and looks great in a new archival wrap.
