For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first hardcover edition, first printing hardcover copy of Zlateh the Goat and Other Stories by Isaac Bashevis Singer and Maurice Sendak in an archival wrap. First Edition stated, 1995 Harper Collins. First Printing with no subsequent printing.

The book is in Very Good condition with clean, lightly faded boards, strong title gilt on a square spine and the front cover design. Also with, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rounded corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright.

The dust jacket is in only Good condition with heavy surface and edge wear,  chips, gaps and tears, but the unmarked front graphic looks great in an archival wrap. Dust jacket is second state with 5.95 price and 0966 code on front flap and without the Newbery Award badge.
