The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards, strong title gilt on a convex spine, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled and heavily rubbed spine ends, Some soiling on the lightly foxed page blocks, heavy edge wear, and rubbed corners. No Book Club imprint, gutter code or dimple. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership. The illustrated end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is also in Very Good condition with mild surface wear and heavy edge wear, chips, gaps. No Book Club imprint and no price on the front flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
