The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a few smudges, strong gilt on the spine, lightly stained and foxed bottom page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or any other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The price-clipped dust jacket is in Very Good condition with moderate surface and edge wear, and a price sticker on the front flap. First issue jacket looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
